How That Dood Got Its Name
It all began in 2020, when Nick moved to Mahomet and found himself spending lots of time out in the yard. He quickly grew a passion for keeping his lawn in immaculate shape. Soon enough a neighbor asked him to take care of their lawn, and from there, word spread on the quality of his work alone.
In 2021, as Nick officially launched the business, he faced the heartbreaking loss of his childhood dog, Tucker, an Australian Labradoodle. To honor Tucker's memory, he named it That Dood Lawn Care, and a dog pushing a mower became the centerpiece of our logo.
“Nick is responsive, reasonable, dependable and all around an awesome guy. Oh yea - he also does a GREAT job making our lawn look professional, We HIGHLY recommend Nick.”
